I have the scantronic 9200 alarm in my house, worked perfectly fine until today - usually it has a light on the alarm for day mode but now there is only a light on for power. Tried to get the alarm back into day mode but the system won't do any commands at all now. The alarm goes of when we enter and exit the house for 10 seconds roughly. Anyone know how to solve this?

As we haven't changed the battery (had the house since June) I have no idea of when it may have been done, I suspect well over 5 years if it even has been changed!

Is there such a thing as tamper proof, and the alarm resetting itself after 24 hours to original state?
