How can I get the central locking to work?

The battery died in my car & I got it started after a push....but then the doors wouldn't open? The only door working is the drivers door & that only works occasionally

Hi,
Bumping a car to start it after an electrical failure or using jump leads can mess with the systems that control the equipment such as door locks.
The ECU or the fuse panel have logic circuits that may have been "confused".
As long as you have the codes to the radio etc, try disconnecting the battery and giving it a good charge. This will allow the ECU to reset so when you reconnect the battery it should all work as advertised.

Y'know, there are a lot of different makes of car and even more different models and years. All different. So: why didn't you think to tell us what your is?
