How can I diagnose whats wrong with my Indesit WG1234T?

I've a Indesit WG1234T washing machine - when filled it won't start unless the door is really slamed shut.

Have a look at the door catch on the door, sometimes the pivot pins comes out and allows the door catch to go at an angle therefore not closing fully

your door swtich may not be in line this switch stops the machine starting with door open for saftey
