dishwasher main pump keeps running (not drain pump)?

My Beko dishwasher cycles through a wash but the main cycle pump continues to run whether there is water in it or not - even when the cycle has finished it wont stop running??? Help.

Putting a model number would be a big help. Sounds like the control board (if it has one) has a faulty component that supplies power to motor. Usually means a new control board needed. Some can be repaired if you know how to find the faulty component & know how to replace it.
