Boss BPS242RF controller?

Having tested the temperature with an independent thermometer I find that it reaches the comfort setting before the controller shows that temperature. This leads to the room becoming overheated before the boiler switches off. Is there any way to allow more air to get to the sensor in the controller?

Thank you XXX. Have to see how I go on.

Too much thermal mass in the controller or the filtering in the controller electronics could be to blame for the overshoot.

Would "more air" help? doubt it but you could always try a small fan playing on the controller.
