Tamper fault? ?

Hi there I have an c&k securitech 700L alarm, I've recently started getting a tamper fault that comes and goes and sounds from the keypad until I reset it.

I've tested the battery and that's okay, and put a link across the 24hr tamper which I assumed would stop any tampers but it still it says I have one. I can reset the alarm and the tamper goes and will be okay for a day or so but will come back and is becoming quite annoying.

I have also done a continuity test on th tamper circuit and it bells out okay??

Any thoughts?
Thanks

Tom, how did you test the battery and what was the result?

External sounder also has a tamper loop. Most likely sounder cover slack not fully closing tamper switch.
(depending on sounder make)
Insert loop in terminals R and - in control panel (adjacent to Bell + and -). If no further activations get out ladder and check sounder fixings/wiring.
