there is a clip on the winder i had to put a new one on today you just pull it off but be careful not to break it if you do keep the clip and get a new winder at a salvage yard for pennies the clip goes over the winder and falls into two small holes this keeps the winder on tight hope this helps and doesnt confuse you.
