What is this noise (Ford Fiesta 1.1 M)?

When driving over really small bumps there is a cluncking noise coming from the front passenger side wheel area. it sounds really serious and wonder if I should drive it home.
The steering feels fine and the suspesion seems ok however the suspension is very squeeky, the breaks seem ok too

Had another garage look at it - you were right it was the bushes - I dont think quick fit are goldfish, I always go there and they are great at explaining problems to me (being female and that), I think they were really busy and only had a quick look,
thanks all the same

it could be a few things your suspension, bushes, ball joint or a knocking that loud could be your drive shaft??oh and by the way i work for quick fit and yes 90% of them are goldfish but were not all bad.

thanks eamon - had kw*k fit look at it but they said it was a loose exhaust bolt, !! - but the noise is still there, I assume they checked the suspension so still none the wiser - however the noise seems to happen more when the wheel drops (going down ramp etc)
