Mondeo 2.0 auto.
Car drove well today, went back to it and when I tried to drive, I depressed the brake but the button you push to engage gears is rock solid. Help

Doing the ultra-quick search you could have done, for"mondeo 2.0 auto gears stuck", I got these, which suggest a duff solenoid on the selector. The last link includes a possible get out of jail strategy.
