i have a Rangemaster PROF90EIS with E2 fault ?

my inductive hob is showing an E2 fault on the centre ring , can i fix it if so how

From the manual.

Error code E2 is displayed
The electronic unit is too hot. Please check the
installation of the cooker, making sure that there is
sufficient ventilation. In extreme cases, if a cooking
utensil has been allowed to boil dry this error code
may also be displayed. If in doubt please contact your
installer or a qualified repair engineer.
