Honeywell Accenta Gen 4 - LCD Keypad - Power Light but not responding?

We have an alarm system set up with a single Honeywell Accenta Gen 4 LCD keypad.

This has been working well for several years.

Today we came to disarm the alarm and when trying to enter the PIN nothing happened and the display was completely blank. The power light however was lit up red so there is power to it.

Does anyone have any ideas on what may cause this issue ? - Is it most likely a fault on the keypad or could it be a fault somewhere else on the system ?

Any ideas ?

Would replacing the battery cause the full system to be reset and need to be reconfigured again ?

£1 to a 1p you need a new battery, all sorts of problems arise when this needs replacing and that is one of them, (one of the biggest)
