I have a Morphy Richards 42221 which hasn't been used for a while now.

Prior to switching the unit on, I descaled it TWICE to make sure it was clean.

I got all the noises from the generator, but no steam, however the iron's plate was heating up.

I switched it off again, cleaned the tank out to descale again, turned it back on and now all I get is ONE second of the RED power light and first BLUE (top) steam light - Then nothing at all.

I think this may be a faulty power switch, but would appreciate any help if anyone else has had a similar problem.
