Hi have a Zanussi zwg1648k washing machine and when switched on to first program water does not stop filling and have to stop and drain machine. Any ideas?
Level switch (pressostat) failed or pipe leading to it blocked with soap crud

This once happened to me with my washing machine and it was that the pipe that takes the water away from the machine had become displaced and so the water could not flow along the pipe so remained in the machine.
