I have a 2002 DAF 45 170 and had to boost the batteries which spiked the VIC unit and fried it along with 4 fuses, 3 of which are belonging to the VIC and the other is ECU. I have got another VIC unit since and plugged it in and replaced the fuses and the truck will not start and the dash will not light up. However when you turn the key you have wipers, indictators etc but no start. Is it possible that the main ECU is blown as well or have I got a short in the system?
