the start button on my beko washing machine wma 642 w won't start the load ?

All the lights are on but the load won't start and the machine was working fine a few days ago, does anyone know what I can do to try to fix this without calling an engineer out?

Hi Angie can u hear the motor running not the pump motor the main one if yes but drum not turning sounds like broken drive belt to check open the door and see if u can turn drum by hand easily then probly belt u will have to pull machine out take the top of machine and there shud b a panel on the back with 6 screws on it remove these then u can get to the motor and belt, if the belt is ok then its probly the brushes in motor need replacing or new motor
hope this helps best of luck
