sps1000 non preset key use?

Anyone give me a clue.
Sure I have seen the answer somewhere but checked all three manuals.

Standard product PLU key used as non preset,
HALO set, not to override, No Probs.
What I am trying to do is make key press once only, not to keep repeating price entered until new price.
Any ideas, my brain has died.
Cheers.

That's highly unsual. Most registers can not have that feature removed since it is so helpful. If you didn't enter a price each time, how are you going to use the PLU? You would have to set it as zero price in order to stop it using the last price. Why do you need it to forget the price?
