Power off at wall plug & unplug lead from socket. Open panel & 1st check the fuse on the board. If fuse ok, remove control board and inspect both sides for any signs of burning. These boards often get cracked solder joints which spark and burn around the joint. If you find one, most times you can resolder the joint and it will work again. In some extreme cases the board is damaged beyond repair but most times I have been able to resolder them ok.
