Why does my mondeo 2002 saloon central locking lock then unlock?

Why does my mondeo Zetec 2001 saloon central locking lock then unlock, as soon as you aim the remote and press the central locking locks then immediateley unlocks but some times works fine.works ok when key is used,its doing my swede!!

i have the same prob on my 2001 mondeo zetec-s,

i was told to disconect the drivers door motor, this stopped it un-locking when trying to lock it, so i guess i need a new motor.
