I took my vacuim in for routine service snd now it wont start unless i hold the handle just right. It appears that it is not put back together just right cause things are not lining up. I want to pop it open and close it properly but don't want to break any hidden tabs or fasteners

Take it back and tell the service tech to put it right. Dont fiddle otherwise, when you break something by fiddling (and you WILL) the technician can (and will) disavow all responsibility
