Be aware that these heaters have two motors - one drives the heater fan and the other drives the flicker effect of the artificial flames. Either motor can be a source of noise.

All you can do is clean the fan blades and oil the bearing. If it still makes a noise take it to a repair shop as it may need a new fan.
