How do I remove Vectra car battery?

I've just disconnected the +ve and -ve cables and couldn't see how the battery was secured so I grabbed it and tried to lift it..........but it's stuck very firmly.

I can't for the life of me figuring out what is holding it in place, so can anybody give me a clue?

Done it. For anyone else that might need to know, you must remove the fusebox/relay box which sits between the battery and headlamp - it simply unclips and lifts upwards.

Then you will find a bolt which holds a bracket onto the base of the battery. Unscrew that (13mm+extension) and the battery comes off easily.
