Remove top cover plate - Frister and Rossman Cub 4.

I have the FS service manual (page38), regarding Oiling Machine.
It tells me to remove two screws so I can remove the top cover plate, to oil points indicated in top of the machine head.
My problem is that I can't locate these particular two screws.
In the event that I'm doing all this wrong, can anyone tell me how to move the top cover plate, please.
