my candy washer/dryer no longer drying clothes -?

when i put clothes in for drying - appears to be working - but clothes still cold and wet - there seems to be no heat generated in the drying cyle at all - can anyone advise? - its only a couple of years old but not under guarantee.

Heating element may be clapped, although with all the shaking and bouncing washing machines go thro' I have known the wires to break near to the heating terminals.

If you're confident I'd unplug and take lid off and try and identify wires to heating elements - see if still connected. This is your best hope - just reconnect maybe with new terminal.


If they seem OK disconnect, and use meter to see if element is still OK (check resistance across terminals - no needle deflection= broken), ASSUMING you check correct ones!).

This MAY give you info required.

Is the wind not strong enough tonight to dry anyway?? (SORRY!)
