We suddenly have an issue with the format of the receipt on our Royal 500dx. Receipts are printing out of alignment. The setting is on R1 like we always do. There is a new inker in it and the paper roll is nice and tight.
Any ideas?

There's not much to get right with these printers. Make sure you are using bond paper (thermal can slip since it is glossy). Also make sure the width of roll is correct (57mm if i remember correctly). If it is too narrow, the paper will wander left or right in the printer. Make sure you have the correct ink roller. Apaprt from that, these little Epson printers that Royal used are pretty cheap and nasty and it may have failed in the gearing or paper feed.
