Brakes Astra?

Hi

My Opel (Vauxhall) Astra 1.4 combi - 97 has his problem:

The left tire is locked. And the handbrake feels a little odd.
Tried to remove the tire but it's impossible. The bolts will not move. Can I do anything to fix this without removing the tire?

The sound comes from the front. So i assume if it is from the front wheels. The only time it makes the noise is when i do hard braking. Otherwise it is fine.

My Astra makes a funny noise when i do emergency or hard brake. Can someone let me know if what the problem could be?

it could be that your brake is stuck on ?? is it the rear wheel??
you rearly need to get the wheel off put a pipe on the socket to give you more leveridge.but be carefull they can take quite a bit but they can snap.if you get it off tap the drum with a hammer whilst trying to rotate it {with the hand brake off}.you should rearly take the drum off but i wouldn't recamend it if you don't know what your doing.but a few taps with a hammer should do the trick.not too hard don't crack the drum!!!then take it to a garrage to get your brakes seen too.
