My cash register J2500S is displaying e999 with beeping sounds after a power failure. What should I do?

Sorry for late reply. I haven't worked with that model but large errors after power cuts are usually related to a faulty battery. If not replaced on time, they can't hold the program in memory during power cuts. Have battery checked.
