how to fix break lights?

my vauxhal combo 1.7 cdti
break lights not working ,all other lights work , tried the bulbs and fuse but seem to be ok .
can you help

If the brake light bulbs and fuse didn't break I would wonder about a break in a brake light wire or a break in the brake light switch
