Matsui dishwasher salt and rinse aid ligths are on?

I have a matsui mf160 dishwasher. the rinse aid and salt lights have come on and the machine bleeps but will not select program and start. never used rinse aid or salt before in years so cant be low level.

Might be worth checking that the base isn’t flooded. Unplug dishwasher, pull it out and tip it to see if water comes out of the base.
