2003 ford ka multiple electrical problems ?

Brake lights and reverse light and heating fan and low beam not working. High beams work, however when the brakes are applied or the fan dial is turned or when reverse gear is engaged the high beams go out. Side lights and rear lights ok as are indicators. High beams aren't affected when indicating,
fuses are ok. The high beams would take a while to come back on after braking or turning on the fan dial. I fiddled with the relays, and now the high beams come on again quickly after engaging the aforementioned. Any ideas?
