Either wash pump is seized/jammed or the start capacitor has failed and needs to be replaced. The humming will be the motor trying to work but can't get moving. Unless you have a test meter, tools and the knowledge of what a capacitor looks like and how to get at it, then call a service company. Not a very expensive job.
