I have a Russell Hobbs Desire 3 in 1.

The lid of the mixer jug (see part 7 on page 2 of the manual)

was put in the dishwasher. Consequently it has fluid inside. I want to open it, clean it properly and reassemble. On the underside is a screw with a special head.

Does anyone know where I might get the special tool to unscrew it?

This question is quite old but hopefully someone will find it useful.

You need a Torx screw (T10 worked for me) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torx

After unscrewing, you need a dull knife (I used a standard table knife) to pry open the top of the lid. There is a small indentation on the lid where you can insert the knife. The lid pops out and you can clean the inner part.
