You didn't bother to say exactly what vehicle you are talking about or indeed if you are actually talking about a vehicle at all.
I took a guess and searched for the exact symptoms you described and got a slew if results telling me what to do about a blocked DPF.
This is for a car, so adapt to your needs:
"Ways to clear the DPF.
Warm up the engine to operating temperature, then drive it for 15 minutes at constant speed on a motorway. Aim to keep the revs above 2000rpm for this period. The heat generated will help clean the DPF filter and the cars Regeneration cycle will usually kick in under these circumstances."
