My washer dryer refuses to go through the cycle. The 'knob' just keeps clicking and turning. We had a new circuit board about 8 months ago - I can't understand what it could be?

I know that when the dial just keeps clicking around it's a block in the out pipe, however, I'm searching this forum for some hope of a service manual.
Best thing for you to do is strip down from the back of the maching, the waste pipe, if clear, you'll have to venture in the U bend and see if it's in the pipe. If not, you're in the samre boat as I am. I
Mine is in the bl**dy machine at the moment and no idea where to start!
