I have an Indesit KP9508E(X)/G with a base heating element and interpreted top grill and heating element. The top element only works in grill mode with no heat for the outer baking element.

Element is new and has been resistance tester with multimeter.

Any idea what is wrong?

Maybe a faulty selector switch, maybe a broken wire from switch to element. Should be easy enough to use the multimeter to fault find and trace fault.
