Something melted onto one of the rings on the glass hob and has chipped away some of the glass with it. The chip isn't very deep and isn't cracked in any way. I've seen people using epoxy etc on chips on the edges of hobs but didn't think that would be an option if we want to use the hob again because of the temperatures.
