Why pictures that have extension jpeg are downloaded as bitmap?

I used to save pictures with extension jpeg as they were (I mean as jpeg). With no reason now when I ask to save a jpeg picture it's only possible to be saved as bitmap.

Your browser's cache is full. Delete the Temp Internet Files and you can resave in JPG now.
