Ignition Fault?

I have a rangmaster 110. With the cooker plugged in with all the gas rings and oven turned off, the spark igniter starts working immediately , until the oven is switched on. As soon as oven senses flame the igniter stops. Igniter still works if lighting any of the hobs.

Is the igniter switch stuck "on"? Possibly the re is also a switch associated with the oven control that starts the sparker when the oven gets turned on. This could also be stick "on" or failed short circuit.
