Boot switch?

I have a Ford Ka Mk1 Collection 2003 and my electric boot switch on the dash will not open the boot.
I replaced the switch and it started to work, after about 4 goes it has now stopped working altogether.
I have checked every fuse and they are all fine...Any suggestions please.
