My miele hydromatic wt 745 has suddenly stopped rinsing and draining. All I hear is a droning noise. It's a cracking machine I really don't want to replace. Any suggestions or ideas ??

There is a short rubber pipe attached to the front of the door seal rubber with a 90 degree bend leading to a sensor at the bottom front end of the drum. Remove this and check it is clear. It traps small items, date seed, pen screw at nib on mine. This cleared my problem. The water drain filter had been checked and was clean prior to clearing this blocked 90 degree pipe.
