UNPLUG THE MACHINE AND THREATEN ANYONE NEARBY WITH TERRIBLE RETRIBUTION IF THEY PLUG IT IN
Remove the base
Unplug the slip on connectors from the old element, noting carefully which wire goes where
Optional but sensible step: using a suitable test meter check that the element has actally failed - end to end resistance is probably 125 ohms or that sort of order. Terminal to casing resistance should be infinite.
Unscrew the screws retaining the element
Remove the element.
Insert new element, reassembling in reverse order.
Alternatively
If you can't get a new element, replace the
machine with a Panasonic.
