How can I modify my tumble dryer?

I would like to bypass my ‘Start/Pause/Cancel/Reset’ button on my defy DTD259 tumble dryer so that it comes on when I push the on / off button
How do i do that? My e ‘Start/Pause/Cancel/Reset’ button is broken so the tumble dryer doesn't start.
