Hygena Cooker hood APM2591?

Extractor fan APM2591 is not working, even though there is power to the socket, and the fuse is intact. It will not switch on. Please advise

Failed switch, failed speed controller, failed motor, failed wiring.
Someone *competent* with a simple test meter should be able to determine what has failed.
