Beko drcs76w condensing tumble dryer won't start?

I have a beko drcs76w condensing tumble dryer. It stopped working completely, so I replaced the heating element and the control board PCB.

Now, when I press the on switch, the control panel lights up, but always with the green light on "drying" mode, and when I press the start button I hear 3 beeps. I can't get it to actually start drying.

Does anybody have any idea what might have gone wrong? I've opened everything up and checked that all of the connections were put in place correctly.

Hi Ghji - yes, there was very clear visible damage to both the element and the control board which is why I replaced them. It is possible that the door switch is faulty and I will check that, although obviously that was not a problem before the tumble dryer stopped working completely.

Did you check the element or just blindly replace it?
I've seen a couple of suggestions the door switch needs checking - simple enough to do with a test meter or even a battery and bulb.
