How can i mend my Breville portafilter?

my Breville portafilter handle got unglued. what type of glue i should use to fix it?
handle is made of bakelite.

I'd use a 2 part epoxy. Clean out as much of the old glue as you can and be careful not to smudge epoxy everywhere.
