I have a Polti Vaporella XM80R which is continuously steaming. The manufacturer has suggested it is probably a stuck valve because, although I have always used only filtered tap water which keeps our kettle completely scale-free, I should have used tap water and Polti additive. Their repair charge would be £99 plus shipping. Is this an easy self-fix with no special tools required?
