Kenwood Chef A901 Keeps Blowing Resistors?

As the title says, what could be causing this? It isn't a circuit board so that can't be replaced. The resistor that keeps blowing is the 56ohm 0.5w one between the 0.047 capacitor and the middle leg of the triac.
Any help appreciated.

Richard and John.
The answers to your question is the resistors are 2W not 0.5 W
Ihad 0.047 uf capacitor and 56 ohm resistor blown.
The supplier I found was at www.torelectrics.co.uk. I ordered both + the triac. They arrived in 5 days cost £10.63 including post.Just look for kenwood chef A901 on catalogue.Rgds John.

I have a similar machine in which both the capacitor and resistor have blown. BUT I can't tell what the resistor was.

Are you positive that the resistor that keeps blowing is the correct value and power.?
