My dishwasher is not cleaning the dishes well. glasses look filmy, plates, if not rinsed almost to clean come out dirty, same with silverware. I end up hand washing about 40% of a load. This has happened within the last month or so.

I think we are having a similar problem with our fairly new mid-range Kenmore Ultrawash. Some days, the dishes come out less clean than when entered. My husband has taken the dishwasher apart twice. The first time he found the drain was clogged. So check your drain. For us, the clogged drain was only part of our problem. For a time, the dishes came out better but then started coming out dirty again. So he took it apart again. The second time he took it apart everything looked fine so we rinsed all the parts in vinegar to reduce the build-up.
We are now trying this LemiShine product and thus far things seem to be improving. I think LemiShine is worth a shot.
