Ben;
I broke my mirror. It cost £53 for a new housing. You need to take the door trim off.
unscreww three screws at the bottom of the trim, under the storage compartment.
There are more screws behind the small speaker grill, and the window switch, as well as under the hand grip (pop out the cover at the bottom of this to find the screw to take this off). Once all these are out, the trim can be pulled off.
There are then clips up both sides which need pulling out.
At the top, with the window open, you can lever the trim off -do his from the outside from the window gap. The trim should them come off.
The coversfor the mirror screws can then be removed. The top screw needs just loosening as it goes into a keyhole from the outside. The lower screw can be removed. You can then reomve the mirror.
The electric cables are clipped into the door, between the two speakers, there should be a black square connector. This can be slid of and diconnected. There is also a grommet to keep water out of the car which should be pushed out. You can then remove the mirror.
The mirror cover is clipped on, I broke a coupe of clips getting it off, but it still holds.
I havent worked out how to get the mirror mechanism off the frame yet. I asked a mechanic, he said he thought it was clipped on, but I can't get it off. If you find out, let me know.
I lost a screw and two screwdriver bits into the door - they drop easily.
Hope this helps
