filling loop key worcester 28 cdi?

I have a worcester 28 cdi combi boiler ,after filling the boiler to the correct pressure I broke the filling loop key. The key is now stuck in the filling loop with no obvious way of removing it can you help.

The key "locks" into the appliance - This is normal so don't fear...

1) Ensure the knob to "fill" has been turned "off"

2) Place a gentle (Keyword = Gentle) downward pressure on the key

3) Whilst pulling down; twist the key 180 degrees

4) You will feel it engage two slots and drop slightly

5) Give it a wiggle and the key should come free; there will be a slight amount of water loss at this point - Don't fear.
