First off disconnect the battery!
Take off the engine tin. Once you get all that off you can see the starter. Undo the red wire from the starter. You'll need to use a wrench to get at the inner bolt. Once you loosen it, you can get it out with your fingers without pulling the flywheel. It takes patience, but it can be done.
